Description of Interactive Media Entertainment Gaming Association: imega.org - The Interactive Media Entertainment & Gaming Association was founded in 2007 with the goal of working constructively and cooperatively with government at all levels, and other concerned citizens and corporations, to continue the remarkable growth of the Internet, and to promote innovation, openness and freedom as the path to even greater benefit of this medium for all.

Imega is really all about over turning the UGIEA law passed in the middle of the night on the last day in power for a few radical Christian Senators. The UGIEA is the law that infringes on Americans Personal Freedoms.

Imega has been involved in the legal battle to over turn the UGIEA law.

So far Imega has one major victory in this battle and that is the Court finding that Imega does have legal standing in the case.

For those of you that don't know, one of the main ways the Government lawyers use to exclude people they don't want involved in court cases is to try to get the court to declare that the people have "No Legal Standing" in the legal case. The Government Lawyers tried this same tatic on Imega in regards to the UGIEA.

Well Imega has beaten this government tactic and the Court has stated that Imega does in fact have Legal Standing in the case to over turn the UGIEA.

Here is a link to copies of the legal documents, it is a PDF file, so you will need Adobe reader installed in order to view the document.
